Central Carolina Synchro Classic Open for Registration
Our club is proud to announce that we'll be hosting our Synchro Classic on Saturday November 12th through Sunday November 13th. Event registration will open on Thursday, August 4th via EntryEeze. Refer to this brochure for information regarding the competition.

Academic Support Program Grant Winner
CCSC member Amanda McClure was awarded an Academic Support Program grant from USFS’s Memorial Fund to assist with college expenses.
Amanda is a double gold medalist and is currently working on her Gold dances. She skated with the Lexettes, Team USA (Hayden Synchronized Skating Teams junior level team) last year, competing at the Mozart Cup in Salzburg, Austria, and Junior Worlds in Zagreb, Croatia. She is a first-year student at College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA) and is currently on Hayden Synchro’s collegiate-level team, Metroettes Collegiate.

2016 Sectional Championship Special Achievement Award Winners
Intermediate Free Dance pair Carley Bryant and Ewan McKinley earned an award at sectionals for achieving at least one +2 GOE or higher by any judge for any element. Congratulations!
2015 Frances Jesel Award Winner
Congratulations to Alyson Robinson on receiving the Frances Jesel award! CCSC is so proud.
The Frances Jesel Award goes to the skater who is actively competing in either qualifying or non-qualifying events, is an example of good sportsmanship, as well as a person that has contributed to their fellow skaters. This award is in the name and honor of a judge who has contributed a great deal to the sport of figure skating through giving of her time, knowledge, and energy. Alyson has shown a love of the sport that is rare, and she goes out of her way to help all skaters. The award includes a trophy that is displayed at the rink (or other appropriate locations) listing each recipient who has received the award.

CCSC is proud to recognize our very own Amelia Horvath as the winner of the Pre-Preliminary category for the 2015-16 RISE Youth Essay Contest!!

CCSC 20th Anniversary Celebration
CCSC celebrated our 20 year history on Saturday, November 14th. The celebration was coupled with the fall membership meeting. The club shared plenty of food, fellowship, and had much fun on the ice!
